YES TO THE DRESS | Wedding

YOU GUYS!

I did it. I finally purchased my wedding dress!

This was such a special day. My bridal party and I finally went shopping for a wedding dress. This was my first time trying on dresses and it went soooo well.

We started the morning with Brunch at Hash Kitchen in Scottsdale, AZ. Seriously, this place is adorable. They had a huge bloody mary bar, a DJ, and a full bar inside the restaurant. The service was amazing, which is such a big plus. Not to mention, the food was delicious. I mean, that is the whole point, right?

I ordered the berry waffle and mimosa flight! It was deliciousssssss. It is not wedding dress shopping if you do not incorporate alcohol. ;)

We then made the drive out to Gilbert, AZ to shop at the bridal boutique called Grace Style & Bridal. I cannot say enough good things about this boutique, it was ADORABLE. And the staff was so friendly and soo helpful.

I think I tried on a total of 8 dresses and the last one I tried on was THE ONE. It is perfect. I wish I could write a bunch of details and describe the dress to you guys, but James reads my blog often and I don't want to spoil the surprise for him. ;) But if you had asked me what my dream dress was, this dress was it. It's funny though, while the consultant, I believe her name was Stephanie- she was amazing, was helping me into the dress, I looked at myself in the mirror first and immediately knew it was the one I wanted. I purposely walked out of the changing room emotionless to  get a real reaction out of the bridal party and their reaction confirmed that this is the perfect dress. It's like it was a scene out of some rom- com movie or something lol. Super cheesy.

I tried on a few other dresses just for fun. Why not? I tried on a huge, Cinderella type of ballgown dress and it was soooo pretty. It is not a dress I personally would purchase (mostly because my wedding will be completely outdoors and wouldn't fit the setting as much) but this dress was sooooo beautiful. I felt just like a princess lol. All I was missing was glass slippers. Not kidding though, when I took that dress off of the hanger I dropped the entire dress. I had no idea those gowns were so heavy! Lol. I think if you are going wedding dress shopping, you have to try on a big Cinderella dress.

Now that I have a dress, I feel like everything else is going to fly by! It is real now. I am getting married in 8 months!

Again, this is not the dress. This dress is not even remotely similar, which is why I am posting it. But I felt like Cinderella okay.

I am so happy I found my dream dress.

Stay tuned for more wedding posts. I will be showing you how to DIY wedding invitations (they are so adorable) and my Bridesmaid's gifts!!! I hope you guys enjoyed this post!

Have a great week everyone!!!!!
