A few posts ago, I remember saying that I do not have a bucket list. Am I the only one that doesn't have a bucket list? So I decided to sit down and reaally evaluate my goals and what I want to accomplish in my life. This was a lot harder than it sounds. But I think it is so important to have a list of goals or things you would like to accomplish. Being able to look back and reflect on your list and hopefully cross a few items off of the list. So today I thought I would share what I want to accomplish in my life!
1. Become self-employed
This is something I have known I wanted for years, but did not start executing until recently. This goal is definitely not easy and requires hours of work, but will be worth it the end. The goal isn't money- but living life on your own terms.
2. Financial Freedom
Credit cards are evil. I can attest to this because I worked in collections. Not that I have much debt, but I want to completely rid off any debt someday. This isn't just debt, but to have a decent savings and not worry about living paycheck to paycheck.
3. Dine at Club 33
If you have been reading for a while, you know I am a huge Disney fan. Club 33 is an exclusive club located inside the park that has a $25,000 membership fee and several year waiting list.. If you have not heard of Club 33, you can read more here.
4. Write a book
I have wanted to write a book for years. I am constantly saying "One day I will write a book". Not saying I would write a best seller, but to just write a book in general would be amazing.
5. Travel to Iceland
This is a place I would really love to travel to. Every time I see videos or photos I am amazed. This is definitely a place I would love to travel to.
6. Inspire someone to chase their passion
Too many people settle for a dead end job that they hate and put their dreams aside. I would love to inspire one person to chase after their dream.
7. Create a charity for animal shelters
I cannot even tell you how long I have wanted to do something like this. I would love to design a shirt or a dad hat to sell and donate all the proceeds to local animal shelters.
8. Speak in a seminar / podcast
I often listen to seminars and podcasts and would love the opportunity to speak in one. I am bad at public speaking, so this would terrify me. But it would be so cool.
9. Live healthier
Both physical and mental health are so important. Eat the right foods, exercise, read books, get adequate sleep, not stress, etc...
I hope that one day I can cross all 9 things off the list. It will be so fun to reflect on this list years from now and see how much I have accomplished. I really encourage you guys to sit down and reallllly evaluate yourself and your goals. Write them down and try to cross as many as you can off of the list. I hope this inspires you guys to write a list! Let me know what your goals are! :)
