It is crazy how things work out. Before we closed on this house, we were actually under contract with another house. 8 days before closing, the house fell through... The seller had a 25k tax lien he "forgot about". I was devastated. We had already told our landlord we would be out of the house so she signed a new lease with a new tenant. I thought we were going to be homeless. How were we going to find a new house to buy on such short notice?

Then we found the house. This was perfect in our budget (we actually got this house for such a good deal) the location is perfect, the house is much larger than the other, the yard is double the size and the house didn't really need much work. Somehow, by the grace of God, they accepted our offer on the house. We ended up closing on this house in 21 days. 21 days is all the time we had until we had to be out of our rental house and into a new place. Somehow, it managed to all work out.

I am a firm believer in "everything happens for a reason". I was sooo upset that the seller had "forgotten" about his tax lien. Now I want to thank him. If that deal had never fallen through, I would have never bought my dream house.

Always trust the timing of your life. It may seem like the end of the world, but it could be a HUGE blessing in disguise.

We are still getting the house unpacked and organized, but here is the progress so far. I will continue to update on the house progress and will post once it is fully done!

The dogs are in love with their new backyard!
