Hi guys!!

Happy Tuesday and Hope you all had a great Labor Day weekend! This weekend was the first time James and I have ever attempted to smoke food on the smoker, so we decided to cook ribs and a turkey breast and it turned out sooooo good. I don't think we will use the grill anymore lol!

Anyways! So, it is September. That is mind boggling. Does it blow anyone else's mind?! It seems like Christmas and New Years were just a few days ago and we are now already approaching fall.

When I was younger, I thought it was so strange when people would say "time flies as you get older" and now that is all I can think about. In the blink of an eye it is going to be 2018.
Does anyone else have that feeling that life is passing by way too fast and you cannot catch up? How do you get rid of that feeling? I cannot help but feel guilty that I am not where I want to be in life and the world is just a ticking time clock until it runs out. I know it sounds crazy because I am only 23. I even want to laugh at myself just thinking about it. But for whatever reason, I cannot get this feeling out of my mind. I think I my personality type is the one who lives in the future, rather than the moment. I am fighting a constant battle of where I want to be in life and being grateful for where I already am. Is anyone else like this??

I was unsure about writing a post like this because I don’t want it to come off as a depressing or sad, but this blog is about more than just the positives in life. There will always be negatives, so we might as well embrace them and share our experiences. So no, I am not exactly where I want to be in my life or my career, but I am continuously working towards it every day.  I do believe it’s important to give credit where credit is due, so I wrote down the positives of what I have accomplished thus far.

1.    My fiance and I set a date to be married in March 2018.
2.    I purchased my own house at 23 years old and I am in love with it.
3.    We have been working on a really exciting project for the last few months and cannot wait to share more details about it. Stay tuned ;)
4.    My blog has been doing exceptionally well the last few months and I have noticed more engaged readers and it makes me soooo happy!
5.    We were hired as videographers to film a wedding and will be filming an out of state wedding soon!

So although I may not be exactly where I want to be in my life, I have accomplished some pretty wonderful things so far this year. I just have to remind myself of the wonderful things I have done and will continue to do.

Have a great week!!
